Materials you will need:
- 1-inch silk tape
- 2-inch tape
Foot should be perpendicular to the leg while tape is applied.
Step 1: Apply first strip of 1” silk tape starting in the arch just behind the big toe joint, extend around the back of the heel, back towards the base of the pinky toe.
Step 2: Apply second strip of 1” silk tape in the same direction as the first piece with approximately 50% overlap.
Step 3: Use 2” tape for the third strap; this piece should start at the back of the heel with tension along the bottom of the foot and end at the ball of the foot.
Steps 4 &5: The next 3-4 straps (depending on length of foot) are to be done with the 2” tape. These pieces go horizontally across the bottom of the foot starting at the level of the heel bone and extending to the ball of the foot.
Step 6: Use 2” tape starting at the outside of the pinky toe joint, around the back of the heel, and end at the inside of the big toe joint.
