Dr. Abigail Gumpper was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, always knowing that a career in the medical field was for her. She attended Temple University for undergraduate education, majoring in biology. After shadowing a multitude of medical specialties, she was drawn to the diversity and level of care she could provide in the field of podiatry. Dr. Gumpper went on to earn her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. She completed her surgical residency with Jefferson Health System-New Jersey Division, where she served as chief resident during her final year.
Dr. Gumpper is excited to join the Cornerstone Foot and Ankle Team to provide conservative and surgical management of foot and ankle deformities, diabetic limb salvage, and sports-related injuries.
Dr. Gumpper is a huge fan of all Philadelphia Sports; her favorite job before podiatry was working at the Phillies’ stadium. She enjoys spending her summer down the shore and her winter preparing for the Mummer’s parade. She spends as much time as she can with her husband Rob, family, and two cats.
