Dr. William Murray was raised in Burlington County, where he developed a passion for athletics as a three-sport high school athlete. These were the experiences that first drew him toward medicine, as recurring sports injuries sparked his interest in musculoskeletal care and surgical treatment. He went on to attend Rutgers University, majoring in Exercise Science and Sport Studies, before earning his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his surgical residency with the Jefferson Health System–New Jersey Division, where he trained extensively in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery.
Dr. Murray is board certified by both the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. His surgical practice centers on high-quality foot and ankle reconstruction, with particular expertise in the surgical management of sports-related injuries, arthritic and inflammatory conditions of the foot and ankle, pediatric and adult-acquired flatfoot deformity, as well as limb salvage surgery and wound care for patients with complex or non-healing lower extremity wounds.
Outside the operating room, Dr. Murray enjoys a good round of golf and rarely misses a game on TV, especially when the Philly teams are playing. Above all, he treasures time spent with his wife, children, extended family, and fraternity brothers.
